Story
Please excuse the name of our team...there is no relationship to Todd Carney whatsoever.
As you know, I'm a mountain biker more than a road biker but I'm helping the Amy Gillett Foundation create a safer environment for all bikes and help improve relations between riders and car drivers. Bugger me, more than 40 riders have been killed and over 10,000 are seriously injured in Australia each year.
I'm going to be riding 65 Ks in the Gravel Ride as part of the "Wiggle Amy’s Gran Fondo" event in Lorne, Victoria on 17 September to help raise money to invest in educational programs to create a safer environment for riding.
I'm not looking for a huge amount of money so any contribution you can make will be much appreciated.

Amy Gillett Foundation
The Amy Gillett Foundation (AGF) began its work in 2006 in the name of Amy Gillett, who was tragically killed as a result of being hit by a motorist whilst cycling with the Australian Women’s Road cycling team in Germany in 2005.
The Amy Gillett Foundation's vision is for safe bicycling throughout Australia in order to achieve the ultimate target of zero bicycling fatalities.
The Foundation promotes a safe and harmonious relationship of shared respect between bicyclists and motorists – to highlight the importance of being responsible every time we head out on the road whether we're on two wheels or on four. Why? Because everyone deserves to arrive at their destination safely irrespective of their chosen mode of transport.
